Rare Arts & Crafts oval mirror made by Hugh Wallis of Altrincham (1871-1943) though not marked so possibly commissioned. However his style is unmistakeable in putting pewter on copper. This has a delightful floral border and is offered in excellent condition with its original bevelled edged mirror plate. The frame measures 67cms x 51cms.

There is some old paint to back to frame where some lazy person has tried to paint around it instead to taking it off the wall! The frame measures 81cms x 58cms and is currently hung as portrait with a copper hook to top.

Arts & Crafts butler's mirror made by Harold Holmes with his impressed mark. This has an overlay of pewter flowers on a copper frame - a style developed by Hugh Wallis Offered in good condition, The frame is 36cms in diameter and the mirror plate which is slightly convex is 24cms in diameter.

Unusual Arts & Crafts copper hall mirror with four steel hooks. It has a lovely raised leaf border with brass studs to the corners and retains its original bevelled edges mirror plate. Offered in good condition measuring 55cms wide at the top and 49cms wide at the lower edge. Height 43cms. Depth at he hooks 13cms. This should be screwed to the wall to support additional weight of coats.

Arts & Crafts print a in copper frames with title beneath. One reads "The sea hath its pearls" and has shells to its border. The frame is 68cms in diameter and the print 51cms in diameter. Offered in good condition being lightly cleaned but there is a little shrinkage to wood beneath the copper giving it a few wrinkles as shown. This along with many similar prints of the Arts & Crafts era were retailed by Boots. Please note that I have a complementing one listed.

Lovely matching pair of Arts & Crafts Scottish school brass mirrors with butterflies to each corner. Offered in excellent original condition both with bevelled edges mirror plates with just one showing minor age. The is a difference of 2cms in width between the mirrors and the pattern is more pronounced on one that the other but apart it would be difficult to see the difference. One measures 57cms in height with a width of 42cms and the other measures 57cms in height with a width of 44cms.

Offered in excellent original condition and perhaps has never been cleaned so has a wonderful rich patina. Rare Scottish school brass mirror with motto and two cherubs. The motto reads "If this were vanity who then be wise". This mirror carries at brass label to the reverse SKELMORLIE ARTS & CRAFTS 1905. I cannot find any information regarding this Art class other than an art school exists there today in Scotland. It measures 47cms in diameter with the original mirror plate measuring 25cms. Offered in totally original condition which is slightly primitive to the reverse.

Stunning and possibly the best quality Arts & Crafts mirror that I have ever seen. The copper repousse work is set into superb quality oak and the workmanship of the reverse is exceptional, perhaps made by the Keswick school of Industrial Arts? The mirror plate is bevelled. Offered in excellent original condition. A unique and beautiful mirror. The diameter of the frame measures 66cms and the mirror plate 30cms.
