Arts & Crafts copper framed print of a young Dutch girl in traditional dress by Hans Von Bartels (1856 -1913) Many artists like Henri Cassiers moved to artists colonies on the Belgium and Dutch coast in the late 19th century painting portraits and landscapes and Hans was one of these in the town of Katwijk. This print is signed and in it's original copper frame and the colours are vibrant and dates from around 1908 There are some dings to the frame and the backing is untidy but original. The frame measures 37cms x 32cms.

Lovely Arts & Crafts oak framed coloured pokerwork panel of the Roman goddess Vesta, goddess of home and family. This has labels to the reverse stating it was made by Margaret Hine of Kendall most probably done in an evening class. Offered in good condition and beautifully executed. Dimensions : Frame Height 82cms. Width 30cms. The panel measures 70cms x 19cms.

A delightful pair of Arts & Crafts Scottish prints in copper frames with raised thistles and lettering. The prints are the work of H.J Dobson R.S W and titled 'Her ain Fireside' and 'Granny at Work' Both with elderly ladies with a cat. Offered in good original condition with minor spotting behind glass. The frames measure 30cms high and 33cms wide.

Lovely copper mirror by J & F Pool of Hayle who loved to use Glasgow school motifs to their work - hence the thistle to one side. On the other side is the honesty flower. It has a good oak back and original bevelled glass. Offered in good condition with most of the old lacquer removed leaving the detail highlighted. Extremely minor specs to glass. Height 42cms. Width 38cms. Original bevelled mirror plate - height 25cms. Width 21cms.

Here we have the beautiful Isolde who's life with Tristan was a Cornish legend. Mark of Cornwall sent Tristan to bring the lovely Isolde from Ireland to marry him. However the inevitable happened and they fell in love and the whole affair ended in tragedy. Played out in Richard Wagner's opera. She is framed in her original copper frame with her name to the base. The frame has a few dings and has not been cleaned and measures 72cms in height and 46cms in width. Words on the lower right corner read Copyright James Arthur 1903.

Rare Arts & Crafts copper mirror decorated with a raised fish swimming down each side. To the base are three raised swirls and to the top is a stylised octopus. Although appearing to be Newlyn, this was in fact made by Francis Cargeeg (1893 -1981) of Hayle in Cornwall. Francis was also known as Tan Dyvarow which means undying fire. He produced some beautiful copper items and this have his signature Celtic influence raised swirls and this mirror has all the quality of a Newlyn mirror Height 56cms. Width 41cms. Depth 3cms. Offered in good original condition with original glass. This has a few specs. The backing has been replaced and the hook has been slightly bent backwards but hangs well. Some cleaning polish residue and minor water streaks to base.

Lovely Arts & Crafts oval copper mirror with four cabochons most probably Ruskins, between raised Tudor roses. The raised edge and the raised dots to the edge of the glass really enhance this mirror. Offered in excellent condition with extremely minor crackle to glaze of two of the cabochons. It retains it's original glass mirror plate. The backing has been replaced. Arts & Crafts oval copper mirror with four Ruskin cabochons retailed by Liberty & Co London with ivorine label to the reserve. Lovely to find one of these in totally original condition which is excellent however there is some overall age related cloudiness to the glass which is more apparent in some lights than others. There are also a few dark spots. No damage to any of the cabochons. The frame measures 64cms x 52cms and the glass plate 51cms x 39cms.

Stunning Arts & Crafts copper over mantle made by J & F Pool of Hayle in Cornwall. Adorned with stylised flowers and hearts sunk into a deeper frame. It has a useful shelf to the top to place items and a piece of wood to hold plates than might or might not be original. The original bevelled edged mirror plate has some clouding seen in some lights and the odd spot. There is a small line dent to the lower right corner as clearly shown. This would make an amazing focal point to any room. Height 74cms. Width 121cms. Depth at top 14cms. Depth at base 4cms.

Exceptionally large and lovely Arts & Crafts copper mirror decorated with pears. Attributed to J & F Pool of Hayle in Cornwall. This has it's original bevelled edged mirror plate and is offered in good condition with just minor specs to mirror. The backing has been replaced. This has a good strong chain and is currently hung as portrait. Height 91cms. Width 66cms. Depth 3cms.

Arts & Crafts framed print by John Hassall of "Old King Cole" taken from the nursery rhyme of the same name. The original print is in good condition and measures 61cms x 32cms and at some point has been set in an oak frame at a later date. Height 49cms. Width 75cms. Depth 2.5cms

Arts & Crafts copper mirror with a Ruskin cabochon to the centre and a fleur de lys motif to both top corners and nice studded detail. Good heavy original glass. The backing has been replaced. There are some historic dings to the frame that can be clearly seen in the images Height 46cms. Width 56cms.

Delightful Arts & Crafts oval white metal mirror with a border of many different flowers. This has it's original bevelled edge mirror plate and is offered in excellent condition with very minor age related marks to glass. The frame measures 64cms x 49cms

Small round Arts & Crafts brass mirror adorned with seed heads and leaves very much in the style of the Keswick school but not marked. The brass overlay is backed on to an ebonised frame. Offered in good condition with a very minor mark to one edge. This measures 33cms in diameter.

Delightful pair of Arts & Crafts paintings in oil on board after William Stephen Coleman (1829 - 1904) They are The Goldfish Bowl and Watering the Flowers. They have survived well and maintain beautiful rich colour and are original copies painted into carved frames. Copies of these Coleman paintings were made into prints to advertise their soaps. The frames measure 86cms x 50cms and the paintings are 71cms x 39cms. Minor chips to the edge of The Goldfish bowl. His use of deeply coloured carpets in the background make these really vibrant and would add character and colour to any room.

Large Arts & Crafts mahogany mirror profusely carved with flowers and leaves. Good quality heavy item currently hung on original hook as portrait. Offered in good original condition with mirror marks to wood and specs and slight clouding to the bevelled edged mirror plate. The frame measures 87cms x 64cms.

Arts & Crafts stained glass panel in deep golden colours with a design that can be interpreted in many ways. Perhaps the sun, a flower or peacock feathers. The frame has a lead hook for hanging. This measures 37cms x 37cms and is offered in good condition with a few minor scratches. Perfect to light up a dark winter's day!

Stunning Arts & Crafts round Newlyn or St Ives school copper mirror adorned with various fish. Made by Mrs Bromley the wife of the painter J M Bromley (1876 - 1904) This was a gift to her housekeeper Mrs Rebecca Jacobs Craze. Inscribed in very small writing to the side of the bevelled mirror is C Skillern 3 Carncrows Rd who was the the daughter of Mrs Craze and this was her daughter's married name. This The copper is backed on to an oak frame. Offered in excellent original condition The frame measures 60cms in diameter and the bevelled glass 29cms in diameter. It is 3cms thick and of excellent quality. Further images on request.

Delightful set of six Arts & Crafts prints designed by Ethel Parkinson ( 1868 - 1957) Each print measures 8cms in diameter and depicots different scenes of Dutch children playing on a background of sky blue. Dutch children were a favourite theme retailed by Liberty & C These are set in a oak frame measuring 70cms x 24cms. Offered in a good original condition. My apologies for any light reflection in the images as there is no fading the prints or background.

A very unusual Arts & Crafts pewter mirror in the shape of a clover leaf with an overlay of brass shells to three sides and metal decoration to the other three sides, This has it's original bevelled edge mirror plate and is offered in a good used condition having been lightly cleaned. Maximum diameter 64cms.

Large Arts & Crafts copper mirror in the Glasgow school style with insects tendrils sweeping out from the top corners and a large stylised dragonfly at the base in the style of Margaret Gilmour. Offered in excellent condition with great patina and has possibly never been cleaned. Superbly made and very heavy with its original bevelled edged mirror plate. Large Arts & Crafts pewter mirror with a beautiful large cabochon in two shades of blue to each corner. A few of the cabochons have light crazing but there are no cracks. The original bevelled glass has some foxing and a few marks. There is minor shrinkage to the oak backing which has caused the pewter to slightly crease. However this would be a wonderful addition to any Arts & Crafts room. Currently hung as portrait but could be altered is desired as an over mantle. The frame measures 80cms x 64cms and the glass is 60cms x 45cms.

Small Arts & Crafts copper mirror with daisy repousse work to the border. A good original item but quite thin and not top quality. However it would add brightness and light to any wall. Offered in good condition with a felt backing. The diameter of the frame is 25.5cms with the glass being 19cms. The thickness is slightly under a centremetre.
