A collection of children's books by Blackie and Sons with bindings by various Glasgow school artist : Ethel Larcombe and Talwin Morris etc. Offered in a used condition. Some have writing inside as were presented as school prices. Two books are the same. I believe that all pages are present but some have age spotting. Height of each 18cms. Width 13cms. Depth 3cms.

Beautifully carved oak Arts & Crafts oval mirror. This has its original bevelled edged mirror plate with just a few minor specs. Offered in good condition with a replaced back and is currently hung as portrait. Excellent quality. The frame measures 78cms x 65cms. The glass 59cms x 45cms.

Pretty round Arts & Crafts carved oak mirror. This has its original bevelled edged mirror plate and is beautifully carved with acorns and oak leaves. Offered in good condition and measuring 48cms in diameter.

Scottish School Arts & Crafts copper mirror with a bevelled edged mirror plate. The glass is a replacement for a dull old print that had been damaged.. A lovely design with thistles to each corner and words from Robbie Burns to top and bottom. Offered in excellent condition. The frame measures 62cms x 53cms.

Pair of large Arts & Crafts mirrors in ash originally stained green as it was fashionable to do in the Arts & Crafts period. Companies like Shapland & Petter has a fabulous range of ash furniture stained green. These have nicely shaped edges and metal overlay to top and bottom originally plated or copper on brass. The glass has been replaced and modern ply to back which is functional so we have not changed it. Each mirror has a height of 86cms and the width is 70cms.

Large Arts & Crafts copper over mantle with fleur-de-lys decoration to top and side. This has its original bevelled edged mirror plate. Height 54cms Width 106cms. The glass area is 90cms x 39cms. Condition - This is not perfect as there are four splits to copper. These have been repaired from the reverse and will be less conspicuous once the colour mellows. Also slight markings to a few of the fleur-de-lys. However it is unusual to find such a large mirror and its shortcomings are part of its history.

Arts & Crafts copper mirror with a Tudor rose to each corner. This has its original bevelled edged mirror plate which is in good condition. The frame measures 59cms square and the glass is 29cms square. The copper has been cleaned but due to over zealous cleaning in its past life there is wear on two flowers as shown.

Superb and profusely carved mirror in oak with an oval bevelled edges mirror plate to centre. Most of the carving is of tulips and the carving is deep making the flowers really stand out. The frame measures 74cms in height, 89cms in width and has a depth of 5.5 cms. The mirror plate is 59cms x 43cms. Offered in good original condition with a few tiny chips to frame and some spotting to glass.

early Arts & Crafts gilded mirror by A.J Rowley with original? or very old paper label to reverse. Stating this is after a design by W.A.Chase number 68. The frame measures 54cms x 31cms and the mirror plate 29cms x 24.5 cms. Offered in good condition however there is some spotting to glass.

Arts & Crafts copper mirror with Fleur-de-lys to centre top and raised bosses to corners and sides Offered in good condition with replaced glass and backing. The frame measures 50cms x 34cms and the mirror plate 36cms x 24cms.

Arts & Crafts Cornish Copper hall mirror with brushes with a scrolled edge and hearts. The small mirror plate is bevelled edged and has minor loss of silvering to edges. Otherwise offed in good condition except for some loss of bristles to one brush. The frame measures 37cms x 32cms with a depth at hooks of 7cms. The small mirror is 17cms x 7cms.

Arts & Crafts oval copper mirror with raised diamonds on four sides. This has is original bevelled edges mirror plate and metal backing. Currently hung as landscape and metal back currently has no holes to alter it to portrait. Offered in good condition. The frame measures 81cms x 48cms. The glass measures 72cms x 49cms.

An unusual Arts & Crafts lithograph of a Dutch scene of three gentlemen drinking beer by the harbour by the Belgium artist Henri Cassiers (1858-1944) Many such prints were retailed by Liberty. This has been recently framed and is offered in a very good condition. The frame measures 88cms x 57cms and is glazed.

Arts & Crafts Scottish school Celtic knot circular mirror with its original bevelled edged mirror plate. The frame measures 49cms in diameter and the mirror plate 31cms in diameter. Offered in good condition with very minor dings to edge.

Arts & Crafts Glasgow school Celtic knot rectangular brass mirror. The brass has a nice bronzed patina. The mirror has its original bevelled edged mirror plate. Offered in a good original condition. It has a metal back and is hung as landscape. The frame measures 58cms x 38cms.

Elegant Arts & Crafts walnut toilet mirror. A Lovely design with a pierced teardrop to the sides. The mirror stays firmly in place. Offered in good condition. Total height 61cms. Width 43cms. Depth 20cms. The mirror section is 47cms x 36cms.

Iconic Arts & Crafts copper A frame mirror with a tulip to each side and lovely studded detail. It carries the Liberty ivorine label to the reverse. Offered in good condition with original mirror plate. Height 63cms. Width at base 40cms. Width at top 37cms. Depth 2cms. Marks seen on images are reflections.

Arts & Crafts oval copper mirror with apples and leaves to four sides. Good large size being 72cms x 57cms. The mirror plate is 58cms x 43cms. Offered in a good clean condition with a few very minor flecks to mirror plate shown in third image.

Lovely Arts & Crafts copper over mantle depicting a girl and two geese. It has its original bevelled edges mirror plate and a label to reverse with its provenance. We had to clean it to remove some very worn lacquer so at present its a little too shiny. Otherwise offered in good condition commensurate with age. The brass ones are more common in this design but rare in copper. Height 52cms. Width 92cms.

Arts & Crafts oak over mantle with inlay to both sides of the bevelled edged mirror plate. Along with the three pierced hearts to the top gallery, there are hearts to the sides of the pillars. It has a useful shelf to top. This has a few ring marks which would not be visible when in situ. Offered in good original condition. There are a few very old and dead worm holes to back and someone has sprayed to whole back as a precaution. Height 89cms. Width 122cms. Depth at base 17cms. Depth at shelf 19cms.

Pair of Art Nouveau mirrors with a black on gold sillhouette to the top of each. One of four in the set of Four Seasons by the German illustrator Karl W. Diefenbach (1851 - 1913) and made by Tallimit Art Boston. The frames are gilded and the mirrors bevelled edged. Height 58cms. Width 24cms. Mirror plate 41cms x 20cms. There is considerable clouding to the mirror plates and the backing has a few old worm holes which have been treated

Arts & Crafts mirror or over mantle with a carved frieze below the mirror plate depicting a squirrel amongst acorns and leaves getting ready for winter. Beautifully executed and most probably the work of Arthur Simpson. The mirror plate is bevelled edges and has some spotting but otherwise offered in excellent condition, Width at top 75cms, Width below 67cms. Height 64cms. Depth at top 18cms. When hung the squirrel carving would be at eye level and a delight to look at
