Delightful Arts & Crafts mahogany over mantle made by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple. Beneath the bevelled edged mirror plate is a row of copper flowers and to the right a stencilled panel of a beautiful maiden. Offered in good condition with a minor repair to the front of the shelf. The impressed number to the reverse is only partly visible. Dimensions - Height 70cms. Width 111cms. Depth at shelf 7.5cms. The mirror plate measures 60cms x 32cms.

Arts & Crafts oak framed Celtic Knot mirror with original bevelled edged glass plate. A beautifully carved design with flowers interspersed between the Celtic pattern. Offered in good condition with a few historic repairs as sometimes oak shrinks in round frames. All good now with no movement. Diameter 52cms. The diameter of the glass is 34cms and there are a few age related spots to this. Depth 4cms.

Wonderful Arts & Crafts oval copper mirror retailed by Liberty & Co with ivorine label to reverse. It has a Ruskin turquoise cabochon to the top, bottom and sides. Offered in excellent original and clean condition. Currently hung as landscape but could be changed. The frame measures 63cms x 52cms and the glass measures 50cms x 40cms.

Stunning Arts & Crafts oval silver plated mirror with beautiful clusters of roses to each side. It has its original bevel edged mirror plate and metal back. The silver plate has been done on brass and can been seen very slightly in places. Offered in good condition but with a dent to the right of the bottom roses. There is a few age related marks to the glass. This would lighten up and enhance any wall. The frame measures 84cms x 62cms at the decoration. The glass is 74cms x 48cms

Glasgow school round brass mirror with Celtic knot decoration. This has its original bevelled mirror plate and is offered in good condition with just a few minor age related marks to glass. There are two tiny holes to the ply back attributed to very old and dead woodworm and was treated. Diameter of the frame 48cms. Diameter of the glass 41cms.

A lovely Arts & Crafts oval pewter mirror with turquoise Ruskin cabochons bearing the Liberty & Co label to the reverse. Offered in good condition with no damage to the cabochons but some very minor shrinkage to the wood has caused the pewter to slightly move in some places as can be clearly shown. The edging is a little loose in places for the same reason but does not show once hung. A lovely totally original mirror that would grace any room. The frame measures 63cms x 52cms. The glass is 50cms x 39cms.

A full set of eight volumes of The Book of the Home with covers attributed to a design by Talwin Morris. Each volume has a coloured front page and numerous other drawing in black and white. Written as a guide to house keeping and house management around 1900. The images are showing the bindings much lighter than they are as they are a dark green. Lovely sweeping stylised peacock feathers adorn these jackets. They measure 25cms x 18cms x 2.5cms. The condition is generally good with no missing pages, just one is loose. Some age discolouration as to be expected. Perfect to brighten up any bookcase.

Beautiful Arts & Crafts copper mirror or over mantle attributed to John Pearson by his classic daisies to each corner and stylised lotus flowers to each side. It has no markings as very few of Pearson's mirrors never are. Offered in good condition with original back and bevelled glass. The frame measures 66cms x 48cms. The glass is 47cms x 29cms. Currently hung as landscape but chain could be altered if desired.

A lovely round copper mirror with four deep blue Ruskin cabochons. These were retailed by Liberty & Co but this one bears no label. Offered in excellent condition with original back and mirror plate. There is no damage to any of the cabochons. The mirror is 56cms in diameter and the glass 43cms. These round mirrors are more unusual.

This bears the makers label to the reverse and reads made by Miss Campbell, 48 Eaton Rise, Ealing w. This is the third mirror that I have seen made by her so she was obviously prolific and possibly belonged to an evening class or guild. Arts & Crafts oval pewter mirror for Liberty with four applied yin-yang roundels to each side. This measures 63cms x 52cms and has fixings to hang both as landscape and portrait. The condition is not perfect as there has been some movement under the pewter which has caused the pewter to look a little uneven. This is clearly shown in the images as well as a scratch. The glass and wooden and paper back are all original. The glass is in excellent condition.
