Stunning Arts & Crafts copper fire screen with a stylised plant with three Ruskin oval cabochon flower heads. An unusual and beautiful design. Unknown maker. The copper panel stands on a painted wrought iron frame with sweeping handles at the top. Offered in a good and clean condition with just small line dent hardly visible. An excellent well made and heavy screen measuring 81cms high and 57cms wide with a depth of 25cms at the feet. The actual copper screen is 58cms x 46cms

stunning pair of two handled copper vases with a Ruskin cabochon to two sides. They stand 34cms high and are 20cms wide. The cabochons are in excellent condition however there are some dings which I have tried to show in the images. There is also a slight residue of old dark lacquer which could not be removed. These would brighten up any room.

An usual Arts & Crafts copper charger stamped to the reverse Art Union of London. This was founded in 1837 and subscribers could win works of art by lottery. Each member paying one guinea annually. Artist were not allowed to sign their work. This charger is inscribed A Cameron 1892 which implies that this was presented to him. The work appears to be by the hand of John Pearson or by the Guild of Handicraft. The Art Union folded in 1895 due to loss of subscribers. An interesting piece of history as well as a stunning work art Offered in excellent original condition with a diameter of 38cms.

Arts & Crafts copper stick stand with stylised heart shaped flowers to the front. Made by J & F Pool of Hayle in Cornwall. Offered in good condition with it's original lacquered finish so no need to clean. Height 62cms. width at base 42cms. Depth at base 19cms.

Stunning Arts & Crafts copper fire screen with a peacock his displaying his wonderful feathers. There is a Ruskin cabochon each side of his legs. The copper panel is mounted on a wrought iron frame with copper studs. There is a pierced handhold at the top. A very similar screen was made by the Newton school near Cambridge but this version is heavier with a different frame so only ninety per cent sure. Offered in an excellent and un cleaned condition. Height 52cms. Width 51cms. Depth at feet 17cms.

Large Arts & Crafts copper cauldron with brass legs and beautiful strong handle. Made by William Soutter & Sons of Birmingham and stamped to the base. Taken from a design after Dr Christopher Dresser this stands elegantly and would be perfect for a plant or fireside. Offered in excellent condition. Height 34cms. Diameter at middle 34cms. Inner diameter at rim 28cms.

Rare Arts & Crafts copper jug decorated with a Glasgow design of stylised tulips. Made by F & J Pool of Hayle in Cornwall. The jug sweeps inwards from the base making it a very unusual design. Offered in excellent condition. Height at handle 24cms. Height at lip 23cms. The base measures 11.5cms square.

Arts & Crafts copper square lidded hot water jug made by F & J Pool of Hayle in Cornwall. Offered in good condition with its original lacquer finish. There is a slight ding to one side. I often highlight to floral pattern by using a very light wire wool but have chosen to left this in its original condition. Unusually marked to the base Hand Made. Height 24cms. The base measures 10cms square.

Large and stunning Arts & Crafts copper charger with a peacock on a branch to the centre well with a pair of trees to each side and surrounding hearts . The border has six elaborate stylised seed heads. This design is attributed to Bert Harvey but unknown maker. Offered in an excellent condition with very crisp detail. It has been cleaned in the past but not recently and the copper has a nice rich patina.. To the reverse is a hook for hanging. The diameter is 57cms and the depth is 3cms.

Delight Arts & Crafts copper vase with a peacock to the front with its beautifully displayed out stretched wings circling the vase to the handle. Attributed to Yattendon Home Industries established by Mrs Waterhouse. Offered in good condition with just a few dings to the base. Height 18cms. Diameter at the base 8cms. Width from rim to handle 9.5cms.

Arts & Crafts copper tray with a lovely floral design made by the Keswick school of Industrial Arts and stamped KSIA. This measures 46cms x 35cms. Offered in good condition but the gallery has some knocks at the corners which could probably be straightened out.

Pretty Arts & Crafts copper photo frame with stylised flowers to the top corners and a heart to the centre. Unknown maker. Height 23cms. Width 18cms. Offered in good condition but with a bend to the bottom corners which does not prevent the frame from standing even. The oval aperture for a photo is 13cms x 9cms.

Fabulous Arts & Crafts copper fender made by John Pearson. This is not marked but a very similar one can be seen at Standen House with the same frame just slightly different design of his trade mark leaves and flowers. Superb and heavy quality as to be expected when made by him. Offered in excellent condition. Height 15cms. External width at base 124cms and at top 116cms. Depth 27cms.

Delightful Arts & Crafts brass herb planter with an interior lift out metal liner. The brass panels have a pretty floral pattern on all sides and are set in with brass studs. The liner has handles for lifting out. Offered in good condition with a historic mend to liner. Good heavy quality item. Height 10cms. Width 19.5cms. Depth 9.5cms. Would hold two small herb pots. Original unknown but could be continental.

Pretty Arts & Crafts copper casket with an enamel cabochon under a fleur-de-lys overlay. Marked to the base Cambray which was used by Best and Lloyd of Birmingham. These pieces were retailed by Liberty Offered in an excellent and clean condition. Height 6cms. The top is 12cms square.

Rare Arts & Crafts brass tea caddy made by Dryad, Lester with a different raised roundel to each side. Two different doves in flight, a floral display and one of grapes. Offered in excellent condition and measuring 13cms in height and 7cms square. Stamped DRYAD LESTER 0146.

A set of four Art Nouveau metal finger plates with raised maidens under a tree, originally coppered of which some remains can still be seen. Offered in a clean but used condition and would brighten up any door. Height 20.5cm. Width 7.5cms.

Rare Arts & Crafts copper rose bowl with a fabulous pierced brass top made by Hugh Wallis of Althingcham (1871 -1943) with his monogram to base of bowl. Offered in good condition with top fitting tightly. Height 9.5cms. Diameter at top 24cms.

Fabulous pair of Aesthetic movement Anglo Japanese Sunflower andirons attributed to Thomas Jeckyll (1827 - 1881) and probably made by Bernard, Bishop & Bernard, Made of cast iron with an etched swirl design and topped with superb brass sunflowers. The finial to the back is also brass. They stand 43cms high, have a width of 15cms. The depth is 20cms and the diameter of the sunflower 12cms. Offered in excellent condition.

Stunning Arts & Crafts Newlyn school copper and wrought iron fire screen with a sailing ship to the centre. Attributed to the Eustace Brothers, Charles and John. Charles learnt his trade working as for J & F Pool of Hayle as a wage clerk before starting his own production. This is an excellent and quality example of their work and offered in original condition with a great rich patina. Height 80cms, Width at wrought iron 70cms. Width of copper panel 49cms. Depth at the feet 28cms

Rare pair of Arts & Crafts copper candlesticks with a Glasgow school motif to the top. These were made by F & J Pool of Hayle in Cornwall who frequently used Glasgow designs in their copper work. The holders stand on four columns making this an extremely elegant design. Offered in excellent condition. Plaster to bases has been replaced. Height 27cms. The bases are 9cms square and the top holders are 5cms square.
