A lovely set of six Arts & Crafts Glasgow school oak dining chairs attributed to Wylie and Lochhead and probably designed by E A Taylor. Offered in a good and firm condition with leather seats - a few are just showing some wear with minor sagging but have plenty of use left in them. It appears three singles and a carver have been in use and two show no wear at all. Minor marks to oak. Dimensions: Height of the pair of carvers 116cns, Width at arms 58cms. Arm height 69cms. Seat height 46cms. The singles measure 107cms in height, have a width of 43cms and the seat height is the same as the carvers at 46cms.

A lovely and unusual bookcase with piercings to gallery which appear to be stylised birds in flight - a motif used by Liberty and the design of the bookcase reflects this. A Pair of Arts & Crafts oak beds made by Heals with both headboards labelled dating them between 1902 and 1918. Lovely carving to tail boards with what appears to be stylised fish with matching freeze to top of headboards. Please note we have the pair of irons but no fixings. Apart from this offered in good condition but slightly dull. There are screw marks on one of the tail boards which look like someone started to fix irons to the wrong side. A now quite rare Arts & Crafts oak table with a pierced heart to four sides of the apron. A delightful design which was retailed by Liberty and some years ago quite common but its a while since I have seen on come on the market. Beautiful Arts & Crafts oak magazine stand with squashed hearts to sides over double end spear piercings. Both the front and back are the same and have chequered inlay. There is a large holder for books and magazines to the top and a book trough for books or CDs beneath. These were retailed by Liberty and probably made by Wylie and Lochhead. Stunning Arts & Crafts inlaid mahogany single bed made by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple. Amazing floral inlay with exotic woods. Offered in a good original condition with minor loss of detail to one flower as shown in last image. There is also a chip to the top left hand corner. It appears to have had castors originally which have now been removed. Height of the head board 136cms. Height of tail board 98cms. Width at top of head board 126cms. Width of bed 119cms. Length 183cms. The bed has its original irons am in the process of making a slated base. There is some sun reflection in the images and this is not damage.

Arts & Crafts bureau made by the Brynmawr Furniture Makers with a good fitted interior. Made of oak and oak ply with the label to the back stating designed by Paul Matt. The Brynmawr factory was founded by Quakers to give work to unemployed miners and only lasted for a short period between 1929 - 1940. During this short time they produced some beautiful furniture. Height 106cms. Width 84cms. Depth 49cms and 51cms at the handles. The writing height at the fall front is 76cms. The condition is good with a working lock. There are some very old and dead woodworm holes to the ply at the back and the base of two of the drawers. This could be replaced but preference is usually to be left original.
