Arts & Crafts pegged window seat or dressing table stool in pitch pine. This was originally ebonised and has now been stripped and freshly upholstered in Liberty Ianthe fabric which compliments the colour of the pine. Pretty pierced handholds enhance this little stool. Tall Arts & Crafts oak hallstand attributed to Harris Lebus. This has delightful pierced decoration and a copper panel to the top depicting a ship. Its strong capped tops add to the lovely design. All the hooks are original having square piercings. The centre shelf lifts up to reveal a glove compartment. Offered in excellent condition and it has its original rich oak colour. The drip tray is a replacement. There is some spotting to the glass mirror. Height 198cms. Width at the top 90cms. Depth 33cms.

Arts & Crafts oak settle for Liberty. This has stenciled Dutch children to the front and a cut out heart to each end for lifting. The seat lifts up for storage. Cotswold style oak fitted wardrobe made by the Brynmawr Furniture Makers originally limed but this has warn of and now been polished to a pleasing warm oak colour. It bears the Brynmawr metal label showing it was designed by Paul Matt. The Brynmawr factory was founded by Quakers to give work to unemployed miners and only lasted for a short period between 1929 - 1940. During this short time they produced some beautiful furniture. This wardrobe is 177cms high, 112cms wide and 53cms deep. Most of this wardrobe is oak but the back is oak veneer. Condition - Good with no damage. The locks do not work but the doors stay closed perfectly without locking. There are some historic worm holes to the back veneer which have been treated though were long dead. These did not come through to the interior of the robe which is in excellent condition with fitted drawers to one side and a shoe rack to the base of the hanging section. This is an excellent price compared to similar ones on offer at present but space is needed! My apologies for the poor images - weather against me!

Delightful oak Arts & Crafts bureau bookcase with multiple decorative and useful features. Both the top and base are nicely shaped. The leaded glass cupboard has three shelves to each side. The fall front opens to show many compartments and has its original leather. Below are four drawers above a bookshelf. Superbly carved oak hall rack which is carved to the underside of the shelf so that the carving can be seen from beneath. It has six hooks suitable for light weight items such a keys or scarves but not heavy jackets. It would be lovely in a bedroom for jewellery or in a kitchen for utensils. It is profusely carved and all the carving is slightly different with roses, seed heads and large variety of leaves. It would look fabulous with a lamp underneath to show off the beautiful carving. Stunning Arts & Crafts oak dresser retailed by Liberty and Co with a similar one illustrated in Daryl Bennett's book on Liberty furniture. Unlike many of Liberty dressers which are made of fumed oak, this one is not and is a fabulous rich chocolate colour. The handles are copper and have a lovely rich patina. A beautiful design with a bottle glass centre cupboard to the top reaching out with wings with two shelves. The condition of this dresser is as near perfect as can be found with just one tiny slither missing from the base. This divides in two for transportation. The key works all three locks but the lower locks are a little tired. The drawer contains a top and lower section for cutlery with a felt cover which is somewhat worn. Height 176cms. Rare painted Liberty & Co Hathaway chest of drawers with its original finish now somewhat distressed. Made of pine with brass handles and cut out hearts to the top. Offered in good original condition. True collectors of Arts & Crafts furniture would love this distressed finish but if the purchaser would like to re paint it, that is personal choice. Many leading furniture makers such as Shapland & Petter produced a painted range of furniture but sadly little remains. I just need to give it a coat of clear wax Height at top of hearts 119cms. Cotswold style oak bookcase made by the Brynmawr furniture company. This bears the label with Paul Matt's name who was the designer. Excellent quality made of quarter sawn oak with removable shelves though they cannot be adjusted in height. The back is made of laminated oak. Offered in good condition with a small bruise to the top left as shown and a very tiny cut to the front. The Brynmawr factory was set up the give Welsh miners work in the 1920's depression by Quakers and discontinued in the 1930s. They produced some fine furniture in a very short period. The colour of the oak is quite pale and has a slight limed oak look about it but totally original. Height 117cms. Width 75cms. Depth 29cms. Shelf height from bottom to top - 32cms, 29cms, 24cms.

Arts & Crafts Japanese carved table retailed by Liberty & Co in the early 1900s as part of their exotic range from the Orient. This one carved with flowers and measuring 72cms in height. The top is 49cms x 34cms. Offered in a good and original condition.

Tall oak Arts & Crafts bookcase with pierced hearts to gallery and lower apron. The smaller version of this design was retailed by Liberty. This one has four adjustable shelves held in place with metal keys. The back is not oak and has some marks which would not show once books were in place.
