Arts & Crafts oak tub chair with a drop in rush seat attributed to E A Taylor (1874 -1951) This has a pierced tear drop to the back and was most probably made by Wylie and Lochhead. Offered in a good, firm and original condition. The rush seat is solid and has many years wear left in it. Height 73cms. Width at front of arms 57cms. Depth 46cms. Seat height 41cms.

Arts & Crafts drop leaf table with a squashed heart to each end also useful for lifting! Most probably retailed by Liberty. The top when open is twelve sided and is a beautiful rich colour. The base is somewhat darker. We have left is as it is in its original condition which is very good with just a few scratches to the top. Could be used as a small dining table and would stow away nicely against a well when not in use. Dimensions - Height 77cms. When closed the top measures 27cms x 69cms. Once open the top measures 71cms x 69cms.

Arts & Crafts Lisvane desk or dressing table made by the Brynmawr Furniture Makers. Although illustrated in the book on Brynmawr furniture it is more of the unusual models. Made of oak and oak ply. The label only partially remains but this would have been designed by Paul Matt. The Brynmawr factory was founded by Quakers to give work to unemployed miners and only lasted for a short period between 1929 - 1940. During this short time they produced some beautiful furniture. Height 81cms. Writing height 77cms, width 107cms. Depth 50cms. Knee height under table 57cms Minor chip to back of one side and some replaced ply to inner drawer bottoms.

A very unusual Arts & Crafts lamp table that has been totally covered in copper and brass. Mostly copper with just the edge of the octagonal top covered in brass. Tiny studs hold the metal in place. Offered in a good and clean condition. Minor dings to edge. Height 72cms. The top is 35cms x 38cms.

A wonderful set of eight Arts & Crafts oak dining chairs made by one of leading furniture makers of the time, James Shoolbred of Tottenham Road, London (1814-1934) Each chair bears the label to the underside. Great quality and a lovely and unusual design as well as being very comfortable. Offered in good original used condition. the upholstery is clean but has not been recently done. The frames are strong and sturdy with no movement. Height 108cms. Width at front of seat 46cms, Depth 44cms. Seat height 46cms.

Offered in good original condition and finish however there is a small piece of oak missing from the pierced decoration to the base. Also a few marks to top shelf. Height 129cms. Width 55cms. Tall and narrow Arts & Crafts bookcase with two pierced hearts to the top gallery. This is made of ash ash and possibly fumed as was in vogue at the turn of the century when many items retailed by Liberty had the same finish. It is quite dark and the grain of the ash shows through nicely. Offered in good original condition. Dimensions - Height 112cms. Width 46cms. Depth 14.5cms. Arts & Crafts walnut music cabinet with two inner shelves for music in the top cupboard and five drawers beneath. There is a pierced heart to the top gallery and it is adorned with copper hinges and handles. It moves easily as is on castors.
