Stunning Arts & Crafts oak fire screen with a leaded glass panel depicting a galleon. To each side of the glass is a copper panel with a stylised seed head to the centre. This was made by Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple in 1894 and is pictures in Daryl Bennett's book on Shapland Furniture. As one can see there is damage to the glass which has been historically repaired with lead many years ago, There is a slither of oak missing from the top as shown in an image. This screen is very rare and although not perfect would light up any room. Height 99cms. Width 76cms. Depth at feet 27cms.

Arts & Crafts two handled copper vase with an owl with raised wings in a rather humorous way to both sides. Attributed to John Williams at his time at the Newton school of Metalworkers. Offered in good condition with some cleaning polish residue. There are some dings to the base.

Arts & Crafts Japanese chair carved profusely with flowers. These chairs along with tables and plant stands were imported by Liberty's as part of their exotic range. These they were made by fishermen when they could not go to see rather like the workers at Newlyn copper. This chair if offered in good original condition Height 95cms. Width 48.5cms. Depth 46cms. Matched pair of Arts & Crafts oak bookcases. One is slightly darker than the other but both have the same dimensions being 95cms high. 34cms wide and 15cms deep. The height of the shelves from top to bottom is 21cms, 20cms and 20cms. Offered in good original condition.

Arts & Crafts wall pocket in the shape of a fish made by C H Brannam of Barum (Barnstaple)and dated 1887. Offered in good condition with no repairs however there is a slight slither to the top of the underside which could have been done in the firing. The fish measures 20cms in length and 7cms wide at its fins,

Revolving oak Captains chair with an upholstered back in ox blood leather. Good and heavy quality chair offered in good condition with some wear to leather. Beautiful Aesthetic movement brass wall sconce sitting on a cushioned oak frame. The brass frame is divided into 8 sections depicting various stylised flowers influenced by Bruce Talbert. The mirror to the centre is bevelled edged. A heavy brass candleholder sits to the base. Offered in excellent original condition with minor scuffs to oak. The frame measures 35cms in height and 28cms wide. The depth at the candleholder is 23cms.

Arts & Crafts Liberty & Co Compton oak magazine rack with a pierced squashed heart to top and pierced spades to ends. This carries a Liberty ivorine label to base. Offered in good original condition with a few minor scuffs. Height 52cms. Width 49cms. Depth 26cms.

A pair of Aesthetic movement brass candlesticks with lovely steppe graduated ring turnings to the base. Standing 17.5cms high with a diameter of 8cms at the base, these would enhance any dining table. Offered in excellent original condition.

A lovely design with a mixture of pierced spades and upturned hearts This has been upholstered fairly recently in Liberty Ianthe cotton fabric. Stunning Arts & Crafts round Newlyn or St Ives school copper mirror adorned with various fish. Made by Mrs Bromley the wife of the painter J M Bromley (1876 - 1904) This was a gift to her housekeeper Mrs Rebecca Jacobs Craze. Inscribed in very small writing to the side of the bevelled mirror is C Skillern 3 Carncrows Rd who was the the daughter of Mrs Craze and this was her daughter's married name. This The copper is backed on to an oak frame. Offered in excellent original condition The frame measures 60cms in diameter and the bevelled glass 29cms in diameter. It is 3cms thick and of excellent quality. Further images on request.

Delightful set of six Arts & Crafts prints designed by Ethel Parkinson ( 1868 - 1957) Each print measures 8cms in diameter and depicots different scenes of Dutch children playing on a background of sky blue. Dutch children were a favourite theme retailed by Liberty & C These are set in a oak frame measuring 70cms x 24cms. Offered in a good original condition. My apologies for any light reflection in the images as there is no fading the prints or background.

Lovely Arts & Crafts oak wall cabinet with copper strap hinges. This has a beautifully fitted interior as was made as a smokers cabinet. The pipe racks could be used for holding kitchen utensils and there is also a useful drawer. Offered in good condition with working key and lock. I have only lightly cleaned the copper to highlight the little hearts but the whole straps could be easily cleaned if desired. Possibly retailed by Liberty as of excellent quality with a panelled oak back. This was made to hang but could be free standing on the floor or table top. Height 86cms. Width 64cms. Depth 19cms. The height of the upper shelf is 22cms.

Beautiful Arts & Crafts pegged oak table standing on four legs with a pierced upturned heart to each leg. The quality indicating that is most probably retailed by Liberty & Co. Good large size with the top measuring 48cms in diameter. This stands 62cms in height. Stamped with a registration number 1866 -116 to the base for Shapland & Petter of Barnstaple. Offered in good original condition with a stain to bottom stretcher as shown. It has a small chip to base of two legs.

Sturdy large Arts & Crafts bookstand with a trough to top and bottom and a cut out cross to each end. Made in bleached mahogany which now has a beautiful rich golden glow to it. Height 74cms. Width 70cms. Depth at feet 32cms. Offered in excellent condition.

Excellent quality Arts & Crafts extending book trough in golden oak with a heart to each end. Stamped with a registration number 353763. This extends from 36cms when closed and 61cms when extended. The height is 16cms and the depth is 13cms. Offered in excellent condition.
