Fabulous Arts & Crafts copper mirror with an elongated fish to each side attributed to John Pearson during his time at Newlyn but bears no markings. Superb deep repousse work. The copper has mellowed to a wonderful deep chocolate colour and has never been cleaned. The mirror can be hung with the fish swimming up or downwards as desired. Stunning Arts & Crafts copper over mantle adorned with fabulous repousse work of leaves and fruit attributed J & F Pool in their early days as Cornish Hand Wrought Copper, a company acquired by their father, James Tinman Pool at Copperhouse, Hayle in Cornwall. This has been lacquered as most of their work was at that time so offered in excellent original condition with bevelled edged mirror plate. It is possible to highlight the fruit if desired with a little gentle rubbing. The frame measures 89.5cms high. The width is 106cms. The glass measures 58cms x 73cms.

Unusual Arts & Crafts oak hanging corner cupboard with a tile to the front depicting a Dutch scene of windmills in lovely rich colours. Tiles with Dutch scenes set into furniture and trays were a feature of items retailed by Liberty & Co so most probably this cupboard came from them. This has decorative inlaid stringing to borders and a useful top shelf and holes to the top for fixing. Offered in good original condition with a replaced lock. Height 75.5cms. Arts & Crafts Japanese chair carved profusely with flowers. These chairs along with tables and plant stands were imported by Liberty's as part of their exotic range. I have read that they were made by fishermen when they could not go to see rather like Newlyn copper but with no certainty. This chair if offered in good condition and is firm to sit on. Arts & Crafts oval brass mirror with four Ruskin cabochons made for Liberty & Co. The brass has a lovely rich golden patina as has not been cleaned in a while. The cabochons are perfect. Arts & Crafts copper casket or jewellery box attributed to J & F Pool of Hayle in Cornwall. Lovely riveted detail to the corners. There is a ring to the top for lifting. Offered in good condition except the green velvet lining to the top and base has become stained white with metal cleaner. Height excluding ring 11cms. The measurements at the base are 15cms x 15cms.

Unusual Arts & Crafts copper sconce with a large Ruskin cabochon to the centre attributed to the Newton School near Cambridge. Lovely original colour and has probably never been cleaned. The candleholder lifts out and there a two holes at the top for fixing. Excellent condition measuring 40cms high with a depth of 13cms and a width of 14cms.

Dainty Arts & Crafts copper candle stick with an elaborate leaf base and a raised leaf joined to each side of the centre. A delightful design that would make a great centrepiece on a dining table. Offered in a good and clean condition. Height 18cms. The diameter at the base is 12.5cms

Beautiful Arts & Crafts copper triple candleholder sconce attributed to John Pearson though not signed but unmistakeably his works with a pair of facing peacocks below an outstretched tail to the top. The three candleholders have stylised feet and clover leaves around them. There is a fixing to the reverse and this sconce is offered in excellent condition and is a lovely rich colour. Delightful Arts & Crafts oak book trough with copper wrapped around the front and sides. A motto reading Choose and author as you choose a friend adorns the front with heart shaped leaves beneath.
