An exquisite pair of Arts & Crafts embroideries in silk of two maidens. The colours of the lady with the flowing robe set between two cypress trees are richer than the lady working on her embroidery. This could be some sun bleaching or just more delicate colours used. The work in both was made with an extremely skilled and experienced hand.
