Arts & Crafts copper inkstand. H Dyer of Mousehole
A rare Arts & Crafts copper inkstand made by Herbert Dyer of Mousehole in Cornwall in the Newlyn school style. The tray has a Cornish lugger to each side with another on the front of the inkwell.
It is stamped H.Dyer. Born 1895. Herbert took to working with sheet metal quite late in life and produced some fine work until his death in 1974.
Offered in good original condition with minor specs. There is not ceramic liner.
