Arts & Crafts brass gong in the shape of a Dutchman smoking a pipe sitting on a wall with stylised plants to the base.
A theme that was very popular with Liberty & Co. He is attached to a painted oak board with a hole for handing. This has not been cleaned but shows lovely detail and is made of good quality heavy brass.
Offered in good original condition. Please note that the beater is a replacement.
The height of the backing board is 39cms with a width of 9cms.
It is 25cms in depth.
